 On Wednesday March 4- 6:30 pm, at the Laborers Hall there is a Candidates Night.  We have local elections in April for School Boards, Normal Town Council, and Bloomington City Council.  This will be a forum where the canididates will be asked questions that effect working families.  We encourage you to show up to become informed on what the candidates think about issues that pertain to our livelihood.

NEED OSHA 10?--The trend in the construction idustry is if you haven't taken OSHA 10 in the last 3 years it's time to renew.  Make yourself more employable,  job calls around the US are requiring this.  It is FREE--NO CHARGE

Thanks to all who came out to the Retiree Workshop.  We had a great turnout and a lot of good information was discussed.

  • Dennis Nolan and Ken McLean volunteered their time lighting up the Labrynth House which is a local charity getting females who have been in the criminal justice system back to everyday life.  Tom Willan, Don Armstrong, and Rich Jagodzinski have also been helping.  Luke Brown employed by Heartland Electric has been on site as well.


  •  Construction Career Fair Day 2014.  Explaining to local kids the benefits of being in an apprenticeship.
